Animals are not being enriched on purpose when they are in the wild, it just comes naturally, based on the animals life style. Wild enrichment is different from enrichment in captivity, because in captivity animals play with tires, find their hidden food, listen to recordings, and drink flavored beverages. But in the wild, instead of playing with tires the animals goal is just to find a way to keep its self alive, and instead of finding their hidden food they have to hunt for it, in addition they do not listen to the sounds of animals so they keep their senses up, they hear the intimidating sounds that are made by the animals to use them as warnings that another animal is nearby, and lastly in the wild animals are not served beverages with interesting flavors they have to find food and water out in the wilderness, which sometimes means taking long voyages until they reach their destination.
